| Fillet King Modular Carving Deck
The multiple use of the Fillet King for fishing, kitchen, and hobby uses led to the development of the Carving Deck. Fishermen use it to cut bait or as a work surface in rigging lines. The tray catches little things that drop off the deck. The tray is also used as a platform for electric knife users when they remove the rib bones or skin.
In the kitchen it is used to dice fruits and vegetables, slice breads, and carve juicy meats The tray catches the crumbs or diced items and keeps the counter clean. In twin configurations one grate is removed and diced items are pushed into its open tray.
It doesn't matter either if you are left or right handed as the decks fit anywhere you want it on the grate! It is even used to cover the handle for extending the size of the board to its fullest surface area.
The modular feature of being able to add decks means that you can decide not only where the carving surface will be but also how big the surface needs to be. Three decks cover the entire grate while still leaving access to the tray for messes. |

| The deck is held in place with pyramid shaped bumpers that fit into the grate holes and anchors the deck in position. Just drop the deck where you want it and the bumbers fit perfectly into the grate holes. If you ever lose one don't fret you can find them in most all hardware, office, or department stores and replace them yourself! ( And you can switch sides if one side of the deck plate gets worn.) |
