![]() ![]() The Johnson Brothers, Wayne, Tony, and Bruce invented the Fillet King Fillet Board after discovering that taking the slime out of the equation of filleting and increasing "control" of the fish, a filleting style could be repeated fish after fish. This cuts filleting time by over half and provides the opportunity for uniform, consistent, filleting fish no matter what method is used. They took the slime out of the issue by allowing the slime to pass through the filleting surface and collect in a tray. The tray itself has non-skid feet so it can be used on nearly any surface without moving as fish are filleted. The grate has over 1400 gripping edges to control the fish at any angle or position. You simply place the fish on the grate and hold it in position by the slightest hand pressure. The effect is that each fish has its own clean surface and there is no mess to the process of filleting. When the job is done, the grate and tray rinse clean. They may be washed by hand or in a dishwasher, and they hold no ordor. Other detals add to the uniqueness of the Fillet King Modular system: the grate sits slightly above the tray to assure any mess goes into the tray and not onto the table if you slop over the grate; the modular joiner is seamless, so no mess goes between joined boards, and the metal joiner sits below the grate surface to assure the fillet knife does not become dull. The system is labeled "For fisherman who catch fish, and for those that do not" for a reason. The board is extremely handy in the kitchen for controlling messy tasks when you are not using it for cleaning fish. The same principlels apply there, no mess, control of items with minimal hand pressure, and fast, easy, cleanup. The Johnson Brothers live in Dresser, Wisconsin. Their company is called Superior Blue Products and Fillet King Modular Filleting Systems are proudly made in the USA. Products are distributed exclusively by Dexter Distribution Company Inc. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin | ||
