| Advantages of the Fillet King over other Fillet and Cutting Boards |
Controls Mess: No need for piles of newspapers or lots of space to have to clean up. The mess goes into the tray through the grate. Mess like fish slime and food juices do not spill onto the work surface where the board is placed. We fillet fish all day at shows and do it on a glass table top and we do not empty the tray until the end of the day. No other fillet or kitchen board compares to our product in this feature. Go look for yourself and if you find one let us know.
Gripping Power: There are 1440 surfaces that grip whatever is on the board with only slight hand pressure. The surface grips in every direction and angle so you control the object in the way that you want for every type cut. You move the object to the position and it stays there plain and simple. A fillet knife is as sharp as a knife gets and you want all the control you can find and we deliver. No other fillet or cutting board provides this type of control. Again, go look for yourself.
Hygienic: Our board is not kitchen cutting board stock, it is a high impact polystyrene, much harder than a stock kitchen board. That means no deep cuts to hold bacteria and no penetration of odors. It is dishwasher safe and even if it were ever to warp it would not affect its use one bit. We would not expect a fillet board used for cleaning fish and smelling like fish to be used in our kitchen for other foods. If it held fish odors we would not suggest you to use it there. It does not. Do we really need to sell you on the fact that wood fillet and cutting boards hold bacteria. (Keep one around though for fancy snacks when company comes, we do.) For everyday use our product makes a ton more sense.
Clean Up: Don't let the grate fool you, it cleans up real easy. That is why it is removeable from the tray and why we use a hard polystyrene in its construction. Do you think we want to waste the time we saved using it cleaning it up? Outside, swish it in a bucket or with a hose, inside, rinse it under the faucet and stick it in the dishwasher. If you let it dry with junk on it soak it first.
Modular: Catch bigger fish, put two boards together. Cook a big bird ,put two together width way. Going somewhere, bring them and put them together when you need them. Carry them in their own bag along with some accessories. While you are looking for a board that compare on mess and control and hygiene , look for some that are modular. Good luck!
Buy our Fillet King for Fishing or the Kitchen Corral for the kitchen, they are interchangeable and all are modular. No one else we know can say that! |
